Jenny Clegg:Ballycrochan Presbyterian Church, Bangor
Jenny comes originally from Portavogie. Her home church is Glastry, where she helped with the Junior CE and Sunday School. After leaving school Jenny worked in the office of Crepe Weavers. In 1979 Jenny entered full-time Christian Service with the Youth Evangelism Team and as a Youth and Community Worker for the Methodist Church
Present Ministry
Give thanks with a grateful heart.
I give thanks for the young folks in the Church Bible Class, having seen them do a service for each other to celebrate Harvest in words and songs, even forming a band with the help of our young leaders. This Christmas we had our Outdoor Community Carol Service with mulled wine (non alcoholic) and mince pies. With a hundred people of all ages from Church and community singing carols. I asked the thirteen-to sixteen-year-olds if they would do the Nativity Play (didn’t think they would do it) and they said yes and wrote it themselves and performed it outside on the Church steps and everybody thought it was wonderful and I was very touched to see God blessing them.
Please pray for
• All our youth work, that our young folk will be loved for themselves.
• Both Church and Community.
• All leaders who are involved with the young people and children.
