Summer News from Fahan

Fahan  is located in Inishowen, close to the Derry/ Donegal border. There has been a busy first half to the year with a congregational Bread and Cheese lunch in aid of the Dalits in India support by OM Ireland.

The missionary weekend speaker was Gordon Stewart from Asia Link.

A wide age range helped with a spring clean of the Church Grounds.

There was also a well supported Cookery Demonstration by Ulster Pork and Bacon.

The fund raising Craft and Cake sale raised much needed funds for the young couple from the Congregation going to Africa this summer. Paul Taylor of Answers in Genesis gave a very convincing demonstration to Church members and visitors.

Please pray for members of the Church family who will be joining various teams this summer. Andrew is preparing to lead an Exodus team to Romania, Claire will be attending CEF training in Switzerland, Stephen to Germany and local CEF Clubs, while Aoife will be helping with CEF clubs, Richard is now working with Belfast City Mission following his first year at Belfast Bible College while Graham and Diane will join a team with Abaana to Uganda.

The Fahan Holiday Bible Club which should be taking place from 18th to 22nd of August is based around the stories about Daniel and his three friends. The club will be called 'Dares, Dreams and Dungeons'.
