Ballysally Coleraine John Coulter

Ballysally Presbyterian Church is a lively congregation in the middle of a large housing estate on the edge of Coleraine. Our worship is centred around an explanation of the bible applied to everyday life.  We use modern music, songs and the best older hymns to express praise and thankfulness to the Lord. Of course church is about more than Sunday and we have a wide range of opportunities for friendship, fellowship and growth throughout the week. Our church is in the heart of Ballysally and the people of Ballysally are at the heart of our mission as we seek to care for people and share good news, grow as a congregation in spiritual maturity and develop a continuing witness to Christ in Ballysally.

We have developed a Youth & Community Project which employs two full-time youth workers and a part-time pastoral worker to help us respond to the spiritual, social, emotional, educational, and physical needs of our community from a distinctively Christian perspective.

If you are in our area why not drop in and pay us a visit  we would love to meet you.

Points for Prayer April 09

PRAY FOR:-

1. A young man who has shown a serious interest in the gospel, but has a problem with alcohol. Pray for those who are spending time with him that God would equip each of them for this special task.

2. A man with a paramilitary background who has been converted. Thank God for amazing answers to prayer in his life already and pray for his continued growth in grace and Christ likeness. Pray for wisdom as to how best to share his story of God’s grace.

3. A special ‘Men’s Day’ in April for all the men from Ballysally estate. So far we have had a great response especially from men who have no connection before.

4. New ‘home groups’ that have just started - that God will use them to deepen the sense of community in the congregation, strengthening believers and helping them share their lives with one another.

5. Continued funding for our Youth and Community Project

THANK GOD FOR:-

1. The growing network of relationships which is developing with non Christians in the wider community.

2. The provision of gifted Christian leaders.

3 The interest folk have shown for the ‘home groups’.
